How to register

Alternatively you can download and print a form from the website and send it with a cheque for the appropriate amount. We regret that we can only accept UK cheques in pounds sterling (GBP). Registration on the day may be possible if you are unable to do so beforehand, but is dependent on space. Note that on the day we can accept only cash payment or cheques with a cheque guarantee card.
Deadline
Deadline for receipt of postal registrations and payment is Sunday 17th of August 2008.
Online registration and payment will be open up to Friday 29th of August 2008 , 23:00, or until all available entries are taken.
Limit: 200 skaters per race, please register early to avoid disappointment.
Classifications
Besides the overall classifications, there are separate age-group classifications. There is also a team race in each event, team results being determined by adding together the times of the first three finishers (male or female) from a club or other group. Separate team entries are not required, but only skaters who are pre-registered by 08-Aug-2008 and have indicated their team on their registration form will have their race time counted toward team results.
Results, Awards and Prizes
All results will be made available through the www.londoninlinemarathon.com web pages as soon as possible after the race.
Awards will be given to the overall winners (male and female), the first three skaters in each classification and to the first three teams.
Timing
The timing is by Real-Time-Championchip. We accept personal chips. Alternatively the chip can be rented for the event at a cost of £5. Competitors renting a chip will be required to pay a deposit of £10 when they collect their race number - this will be refunded when they return the chip after the race. The rental chips are not for sale, and cannot be used at any other events.
The chip must be attached on the boot in the lace area or on the ankle with the band provided. NOT ON THE FRAME!
No chip - no classification!
Confirmation
Confirmation of entry will be sent only if the competitor provides an email address.
Race Documentation
Race packs and numbers may be collected from 10.30 a.m. until the registration closes (45 minutes before the race starts at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit). Race numbers are to be worn on the left thigh. The race number must not be changed in any way.
Course
The course is slightly less than one mile long, so the Full Marathon will be 28 laps. The track is smooth asphalt, running anti-clockwise with some undulations, bends and a gentle hill. A lap counter will be positioned adjacent to the Start/Finish line. A bell will be rung at the beginning of the final lap for the lead skaters/groups.
First Aid
Emergency First Aid will be provided.
Refreshment and Water Stations
Course: A refreshment station will be situated at the trackside. It will open after five laps have been completed in the Marathon and Half-marathon.
Finish: Refreshments will also be available to competitors finishing their race.
Finish
The races will be closed after 2h30min (Full and Half Marathon) or 30min (Mini-marathon). Skaters who are still on the track after these times may not be allowed to start another lap.
Liability
Participation is at the skater's risk. Liability of any kind will be assumed neither by the organiser, the federation, the circuit, sponsors, nor officials. This also applies to accidents, lost items of clothing and other belongings. The collection of a participant's race number acknowledges that participant's fitness to compete and agreement with the present terms and conditions.
